I’m interested in the biochemistry and molecular and cell biology of neuronal degeneration during aging of the mammalian brain, particularly in Alzheimer's diseases (AD).Also, I used Zebrafish as a model system to elucidate the molecular pathways relevant to Presenilin (PS) biology and their implication in the pathogenesis of AD and other CNS Disorders. The goals are to understand the molecular mechanism mf the PS-Dependent intramembrane cleavage of transmembrane Proteins, and to establish a Zebrafish for CNS disorders.
