| 2006 IABMR New Year Party |
The 2006 IABMR New Year Party took place at the Cambridge Center for Chinese Culture (CCCC) between 6-10pm on the Saturday of January 21, 2006. About 30 members and guests attended this party. Special thanks to our board member Dr. Tao Kai (also the vice president of CCCC) for lending a spacious and well-equipped room at CCCC for this activity. The 2005 president Dr. Jake Chen gave brief speech during the party and presented three Outstanding Contribution Awards to Drs. Toshi Kawai, Paloma Valverde, and Yumei Zhan for their significant contributions to IABMR during the past year. The president-elect Dr. Bai-lin Wu was then inaugurated to serve IABMR as the new president for the year of 2006.
